    Project Description

The Wyoming State Engineer’s Office retained States West in the summer of 1998 to conduct an irrigated lands analysis of all irrigated lands within the Bureau of Reclamation’s Project Lands of the Big Horn River Basin, Wyoming. This project included all irrigation districts below Boysen and Buffalo Bill reservoirs. States West utilized color infra-red and black & white aerial photography to conduct interpretation of all currently irrigated agriculture  and digitized this data onto USGS 7.5 minute digital quadrangles. This data was attributed with all water rights of record within the State Engineer’s Office and a final report prepared.
